This competition aims to honor the memory of the legendary Italian-French drummer by promoting his artistic and educational legacy, both in his homeland and in all the places where this instrument is played with passion.

After the first emotionally rich editions of DADA, the festival renews, for this fifth edition, its support for young drumming talents and their educational journey — through new scholarships and by creating a welcoming space where young people can freely express themselves, meet, and exchange ideas.

On Tuesday, August 12, the festival hosted the impressive and spectacular final of the competition between the best young finalists of each category, during which a distinguished jury announced the winners.

For an entire day, Mercatello sul Metauro became a space of youth, a space of sound, a space of rhythm. Rhythm as the stylistic hallmark of this land of Italy.
